“It’s a series of conversations. It doesn’t happen in one meeting. First you figure out what someone is passionate about, then how they want to impact it. And there are a lot of ways to do that.”
At Bespoke, philanthropy is treated not as generosity, but as discipline—the deliberate work of translating personal values into measurable impact. In this conversation, our founder Jonathan Mintz examines how ultra-high-net-worth families move beyond symbolic giving toward strategies that demand rigor, accountability, and long-term vision. From grassroots initiatives to purpose-built institutions, and from donor-advised funds to charitable trusts, the focus is not on how much is given, but how intentionally it is deployed.
