Tom focuses on analyzing equity and thematic investment opportunities for Cognitive, with a particular focus on software, media, and energy. Tom also manages CI’s internal library of research and field notes.
In addition to CI, Tom is an Analyst at Off Wall Street. Prior to OWS, he worked in research and trading at a $2.5B global macro hedge fund in Boston. He also has prior experience working with individual clients in the financial planning and advisory group of a large financial advisory institution.
Tom earned his BS from Northeastern University, with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics. He also holds the CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.
Tom is CI’s “Renaissance man”. Growing up he was a three-sport athlete and an accomplished multi-instrument musician! In the sixth grade, he played the keyboard in a band that opened for “The Fray”. Unfortunately, his parents wouldn’t let him go because it was a school night.
